This low-maintenance swim spa deck in Leppington came together after Ballard’s Carpentry met the homeowners at the Pool & Spa Show and brought samples to their home to work through a complete backyard renovation within their budget. The couple wanted a low-maintenance outdoor space with genuine visual impact, along with a water feature to finish it off.
The finished spa deck uses WoodEvo Home Advanced composite decking in Sandstone, set on a ClickDeck aluminium subframe to manage the low clearance and high moisture around the spa. White deep castellation cladding from WoodEvo covers the boundary colorbond fence, giving the whole yard a consistent finish, while a corner umbrella, built-in phone charger and a water feature with a fountain complete the entertaining area. Artificial turf from Aus Grass fills the remaining yard, removing the need for mowing or watering.
The result gives the homeowners a spa deck they can enjoy daily without the upkeep a traditional backyard would demand. A homeowner considering a similar renovation can expect the same balance of composite decking, cladding and finishing touches that turn a functional spa area into a complete outdoor living space.
